Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Crave Digital, Inc., a Delaware corporation, doing business as Filed Studios ("Filed Studios," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit filedstudios.com (the "Site") or purchase our services.
We aim to collect the minimum information needed to deliver our services well, and we never sell your information.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Contact information: Name, email address, phone number, mailing or billing address.
- Business information: Information about your business activity, income sources, state of residence, and entity preferences — collected during checkout and intake.
- Payment information: Card details are collected and processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number; we receive only a transaction record (last four digits, brand, transaction ID).
- Booking information: When you book a call, Google Calendar collects your name, email, and any answers to scheduling questions.
- Communications: Email, form submissions, and other communications you send us.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting provider (Netlify) logs basic technical information about requests to the Site, including IP address, user agent, request paths, and timestamps. This is used for security, performance monitoring, and analytics aggregation. We also use Microsoft Clarity, a behavioral analytics service that captures aggregated and anonymized data about how visitors interact with the Site (mouse movements, clicks, scrolls, and session recordings) to help us improve usability. Microsoft processes this data subject to its Privacy Statement. We do not use advertising trackers (Google Ads, Meta Pixel, etc.) and do not sell or share data with advertisers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver the services you purchased (form your LLC, file paperwork, set up registered agent, etc.)
- Communicate with you about your order, intake, scheduling, and follow-up
- Process payments and prevent fraud
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations (tax reporting, IRS, FinCEN where applicable, state filing requirements)
- Improve the Site and our services
- Send occasional product updates or operational announcements (you can unsubscribe at any time)
3. How We Share Your Information
We share information only where necessary to deliver services or comply with the law:
- Service providers we engage on your behalf:
- Northwest Registered Agent — to file your formation documents and act as your registered agent.
- Stripe — to process payments.
- Google Workspace — for email and calendar.
- Netlify — to host the Site.
- Government agencies: State business filing offices and the IRS (for EIN) receive the information necessary to register your entity. FinCEN may receive ownership-disclosure filings where currently required by applicable federal or state law.
- Referred professionals: If you ask for an introduction to a CPA, banker, lender, or financial planner, we share your contact information and relevant context with that party — only with your consent.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect our rights, your safety, or the public.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred to the acquiring party under terms consistent with this policy.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with advertising networks or data brokers.
4. Cookies and Tracking
The Site uses Microsoft Clarity, which sets first-party and third-party cookies and uses similar technologies to capture session-level behavioral data (mouse movements, clicks, scrolls, and session recordings) for usability analytics. Data is processed by Microsoft under its Privacy Statement. We do not use advertising trackers (Google Ads, Meta Pixel, etc.) and do not sell or share visitor data with advertisers. Google Fonts is loaded from Google's CDN, which may log basic request data; see Google's privacy policy for details.
If we add additional analytics or tracking services in the future, we will update this policy and provide appropriate notice and controls.
5. Data Retention
We retain client information for as long as needed to:
- Provide the services you purchased and respond to follow-up questions
- Comply with tax, accounting, and regulatory record-keeping requirements (generally up to 7 years for financial records)
- Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements
After these periods, we delete or anonymize information unless retention is required by law.
6. Security
We take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect the information we collect:
- Payment data is processed by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1).
- Account credentials use multi-factor authentication.
- Our Site is served over HTTPS with strict transport security.
- Internal access to client data is limited to personnel who need it to deliver services.
No security system is perfect. If we discover a breach affecting your information, we will notify you and applicable regulators as required by law.
7. Your Rights
7.1 California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

- Access a copy of your personal information
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal-retention exceptions

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to certain processing.
